is Western Australia’s latest and most modern ocean based marina.
With approximately $220 million being invested in the Marina over the next few years, visitors will be able to enjoy café and restaurant facilities, unique shopping with indoor craft markets and a tavern for light refreshments. Mixed with this and complementing the Marina is an array of residential townhouses, apartments, penthouses and residences.
Selected business operations also will operate from this area.
The Marina is managed by the City of Mandurah
through the Marina manager, Jim Scott
Located on Dolphin Drive Mandurah
, you will currently find berthing for 98 recreational vessels and 35 fishing vessels.
In close proximity is the Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Club
that also have a 74 berth facility.
All recreational floating pens are built from the latest techniques being constructed of a high-density plastic. All pens are fully serviced and cater for vessels up to 15 metres in length, with the future stages extending to 220 pens accommodating up to 20-metre vessels.
Even if you don’t own a boat, Mandurah Ocean Marina day or night is developing into Mandurah’s premier attraction.
Laze away the weekend cruising our fabulous waterways on a houseboat or hire a boat for a bit of crabbing. Something a bit more adventurous? Rent a sea going vessel for a few days. Don’t wish to be a skipper yourself? Then contact our reputable fishing Charter vessel and let them do the work.
Security is not forgotten either
With a stylish gatehouse and self-closing electronic gates, your vessel remains at a distance from general passers-by.
A closed circuit television network is also planned in the future whereby you can see the Marina live through the Internet and check weather conditions and maybe even your boat.
With an array of pen fees to cater for your length of stay, Mandurah Ocean Marina
is affordable and secure.
A 50-tonne boat lifter is being prepared to enable work to be done on your vessel. With hardstand facilities and complete boat maintenance facilities coming on line by June 2002 you will never have to go far.
Whilst Mandurah Ocean Marina is only minutes from the ocean, the superb estuarine waters allow for extended boating pleasure when that sea breeze spoils ocean pastime.
Fuel and sullage disposal is available 24 hours within the Marina via electronic swipe card.
Whether you come with your boat in tow and use Mandurah Ocean Marina Launch Ramp
or require a berth for the night Mandurah Ocean Marina can cater for your needs.
Even if you just want to visit, free stays up to 4 hours can be accommodated while you check out the surroundings.
Stage 2 development of the Marina will see a footbridge linking the Marina via a short walk to the Cinema, Performing Arts Centre and the main street of Mandurah.
With 35 low cost chalet units also to be constructed, every facility will be in walking distance.
